October 15, 2004 - Diamond Select Toys has sent us a shipping update on the Anya/Tara action figures in their Buffy the Vampire Slayer product line: the US Anya/Tara action figure cases will be IN STORES on THIS Wednesday (10/20).

Cases containing 4 x Season 5 Anya, 3 x New Moon Rising Tara, and 1 x Hush Tara will be delivered to comic stores and online retailers on Wednesday.

The exclusive figures in this assortment (Hell's Bells Anya, Once More With Feeling Anya, Anyanka, and Fear Itself Anya) will be shipping at a later date. It was DST's original intent to ship ALL of the Anya/Tara figures at once, but after realizing the magnitude of the port congestion in Long Beach, CA we decided it was in everyone's interests to ship the core figures first. It is very difficult to estimate when the exclusive figures will be shipping, but we will certainly keep everyone updated when we learn more.

International cases have been shipped to our international distributors, so those cases should also be arriving soon. Unfortunately, a more definitive timeframe is unavailable.
