New Medicom Special Force Kubrick Set Announced

Medicom Toy of Japan keeps cranking out the Kubrick goodness! If you haven't heard of Kubricks yet they are small (2-1/2") articulated figures that are very reminiscent of the figures made popular by a certain European-based building block company, but much cooler.


Kubrick figure sets based on Neon Genesis Evangelion, Armored Trooper Votoms, Devilman, Planet of the Apes, and even the Blair Witch Project are coming this year. As previously reported, most Kubrick sets will be made available to U.S. collectors through Diamond Comic Distributors Previews catalog (except the Planet of the Apes sets, due to license conflicts in the states).


The latest Kubrick set announced by Medicom is the Special Force set. This 5-piece set features 2 SAS figures, 2 FBI figures and a Terrorist. The set is expected to be released in Japan this October. No word yet on a U.S. release.
