DIAMOND SELECT'S BUFFY BOOK SETS ARE BACK... WITH A VENGEANCE!

December 2004 - Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles (DST) recently announced the next release in its series of Buffy the Vampire Slayer "Book" format figure sets, the "Vengeance Demon Box Set." This boxed collection of figures is based on the storyline of one of the series' most popular characters. This new release (which is due to hit shelves in February) is a follow-up to the "Willow Spellbook Set," which sold out quickly upon release and garnered praise from both retailers and fans alike.

This much-anticipated window box set includes a "Fear Itself" Anya (featuring an alternate paint scheme) and Anyanka - the two very different sides of the popular character portrayed by actress Emma Caulfield. In addition, Anya's demonic mentor D'Hoffryn (who transformed her into a vengeance demon), makes his exclusive debut in this boxed set as an all-new sculpt!

"This newest box set will no doubt be high on many Buffy fan's wish-lists, and we've been planning this next release ever since the "Willow Spellbook Set's" impressively quick sell-out," stated Chuck Terceira, Director of DST.

Anya comes with her bunny, amulet, and the checkered magic box floor; while Anyaka's accessories include the magic Troll Hammer, green potion bottle, amulet and an imitation wood floor base. D'Hoffryn comes without accessories.

The Anya and Anyanka figures in this box set stand approximately 6" tall, with 16 points of articulation; while the finely detailed D'Hoffryn figure features limited articulation and stands a little over 6" tall.
