McFarlane To Make Little Nicky / Possibly Reveal Blair Witch

 Long-rumored, and now official, McFarlane Toys has just signed a deal to produce a line of action figures for the hot new Adam Sandler flick, Little Nicky, from New Line Cinema."We're trying to re-create scenes from the movie that include specific characters and audio clips from the film. We've already had great success with New Line and Austin Powers, and I expect this project to be even more successful," said Todd McFarlane, founder of McFarlane Toys."New Line has been kind enough to allow me to deal directly with Adam Sandler and Jack Giarraputo to make sure we get this right. The content of this movie is right up my alley since I like to take chances, and this movie is also going to take some chances." The film, which features Sandler as the shy and awkward son of the devil, is due in theaters this fall. Tentative plans call for a line of figures to include: - Little Nicky with Beefy
- Little Nicky with Cassius
- Gate Keeper with Gary
- Deluxe Beefy
In related news, McFarlane Toys has signed an exclusive deal with Artisan Entertainment for first right of refusal on all toy licenses through early 2003.Though specific details of the partnership remain hush-hush, word has it that Artisan is interested in a McFarlane-style take on the ever-elusive witch from The Blair Witch Project.
