New Barbie Video Games in Fall 2005

LOS ANGELES, Aug. 8, 2005 -- Vivendi Universal Games (VU Games) today announced its September line-up of interactive games based on the latest additions to Mattel's successful Barbie™ and My Scene™ entertainment franchises. Inspired by the animated movie releases "Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus" and "My Scene Goes Hollywood™" arriving on DVD/VHS this fall, Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus CD-ROM, Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus for the Game Boy® Advance video game system and My Scene Goes Hollywood™ CD-ROM extend the fun of the films with imaginative interactive adventures.

Barbie™ and the Magic of Pegasus CD-ROM

Girls let their dreams take flight in a magical fairy tale adventure to stop the evil wizard Wenlock, who has cast a spell turning the kingdom to stone. Girls join Barbie™ as Princess Annika™, her pet polar bear cub, Shiver™, and Brietta™, a magnificent winged horse, on a fantastic journey to search for the magical Wand of Light -- the only thing that can break the spell. Along the way, girls play fun games and solve challenging puzzles to avoid obstacles and uncover special items throughout four enchanting lands. Then it's off to find Wenlock and save the kingdom from his evil spell!
