June 2006 - Diamond Select Toys & Collectibles, LLC (DST) is excited to announce a continuation of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel prop replica license! In the wake of this cult series' continued success with DST, an expansion of the existing license to include prop replica categories has been agreed with Fox Licensing & Merchandising.

Like Buffy herself, several previously announced prop replicas will return from the grave and see new life as Diamond Select Toys releases – beginning with the Urn of Osiris! Long considered the only safe method of true resurrection, the Urn of Osiris is a fitting choice for the inaugural piece in this Diamond Select Toys line of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel prop replicas.

"When the category became available, it was a natural progression for DST to expand into the prop replica world," said Diamond Select Toys' Marketing and Sales Coordinator, Michael Leavey. "With the success of our Smiletime Angel plush and our expanding prop replica business, we're looking forward to this expansion of our Buffy license."

Many of the replicas are planned to include a museum-quality acrylic display case and gallery-style title plaque, though the final details will be made available as the Urn of Osiris' fall 2006 release date approaches.
