LEGO BIONICLE Heroes Video Game

Let Your Kid Be the Hero This Holiday Season

From the Makers of the Best-Selling LEGO® Star Wars®: The Video Game Comes the Next Big Action/Adventure Title for Kids, BIONICLE Heroes, Featuring the Villainous Piraka and the Heroic Toa Inika

SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 6, 2006 -- Do you have what it takes to be a hero this holiday season? Following the success of their initial collaboration, LEGO® Star Wars®: The Video Game, Eidos and TT Games have teamed up once again to bring BIONICLE® Heroes to the gaming world in time for the holidays. Perfect for boys ages 6 to 12 and all lovers of the popular BIONICLE series, this totally new and thrilling adventure features the LEGO Group's new 2006 BIONICLE toy range; the mighty Toa Inika and the dastardly Piraka. Available for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, PC for Windows, Nintendo GameCube™, Nintendo DS™ and Game Boy® Advance platforms, Bionicle Heroes will hit store shelves in November 2006.

BIONICLE Heroes takes you to the mysterious island of Voya Nui. Here, on a world populated by BIONICLE characters past and present, gamers must take control of the Toa Inika as they battle against the Piraka for the 'Mask of Light.' In order to survive, players must explore jungles, deserts and mountains as well as battle, solve puzzles, learn to walk through fire and even climb sheer cliff faces in the ultimate BIONICLE adventure.

Game players can battle and explore their way across 25 levels in 6 distinct environments to become the Hero, with each environment providing unique gameplay to each Hero character.

"With BIONICLE Heroes we've once again taken one of the world's most recognized toy brands and created a graphically rich and highly accessible game that will appeal to a wide range of players, especially the younger set who have made the BIONICLE toy line such a huge success for LEGO Group over the past six years," said Matt Gorman, marketing director, Eidos. "We're confident we've delivered another game that parents will love to give to their kids this holiday season."

BIONICLE Heroes will carry an MSRP of $29.99 for all platforms. The PC version is compatible with Windows XP/2000 and requires a Pentium III 1 GHz or equivalent processor.
