More Details On Irwin Toy's Upcoming ReBoot Line

reboot_new_bob.jpg - 15647 BytesRiding high on the wave of the growing popularity for programs created by computer generated images, ``ReBoot,'' an animated series reflecting a ``virtual existence'' airing on The Cartoon Network will have its star characters immortalized by Irwin Toys through a line of specialty action figures. In an agreement negotiated by American Champion Entertainment, licensing agent for series' producers Mainframe Entertainment, Irwin Toys gained worldwide rights to the action figure segment of the ``ReBoot'' property.

A limited collector's edition of four 9-inch action figures based on the characters from the highly popular program will arrive Spring 2001, available at boutiques and e-retailers specializing in collectibles. Aggressively posed, finely detailed and fully articulated, Bob, AndrAIa, Matrix and Megabyte will comprise the ``ReBoot Webworld'' collector's edition, with each figure priced at approximately $14.99. The figures will stand on a display base and be packaged in designer computer styled boxes. For the mass market, these 9-inch action figures will also be available without the display base. In September 2001, Irwin Toys will expand the ``ReBoot'' action figure line with five 5-1/2" characters depicting Matrix, Glitch Bob, Commander Dot, AndrAIa and Megabyte, individually tagged at about $8.99. The figures will be packaged in a vidlid styled blister card. An Irwin Toys spokesperson confirmed the projected sales figures are very strong based on the popularity of the series and consumer demand.

Joy Tashjian, President of American Champion Marketing Group, explained, ``We want 'ReBoot' action figures to reflect the same, very high degree of technological sophistication which kids are seeing in the animated series. Irwin Toys knows how to maximize new action figure technologies, attaining finer details in the faces and much better articulation in the bodies. We are convinced that an advanced, new line of figures will energize the tremendous equity of the series.''

American Champion Marketing Group is a subsidiary of American Champion Entertainment, a publicly held company that specializes in the acquisition and development of quality family and sports programming, as well as developing multi-media consumer products.
