JAKKS Brings Public Relations In-House

JAKKS Pacific, Inc. announced today that effective immediately, Genna Goldberg, formerly of GennaRation Public Relations & Marketing, has joined the company to handle all corporate public relations issues. Considering the company�s significant growth, JAKKS Pacific decided to bring all consumer and trade PR activity in-house to the company�s Malibu headquarters. Goldberg was appointed Director of Corporate Communications and is responsible for overseeing public relations opportunities for the company�s brands, including Child Guidance, Flying Colors, World Wrestling Federation and G.I.R.L Force, and will also act as a liaison with Silverman Heller, JAKKS Pacific�s financial PR agency. Goldberg previously handled the JAKKS Pacific account while employed at JAKKS Pacific�s former PR agency. Goldberg comes to JAKKS Pacific with over five years of Public Relations experience in the toy business, having worked with such companies as Bandai America, Imperial Toy Corporation, TOMY America and most recently, Manley Toy Quest, all with products ranging from licensed and non-licensed action figures, pre-school and toddler toys and activity sets, to die-cast and plastic cars and collectibles. "Considering the tremendous growth of the company and each of our brands, it became imperative that we bring our corporate communications and public relations in-house," said Stephen Berman, president, JAKKS Pacific.
