DC Direct Shazam! Deluxe Action Figure Set in Stores This Week!

 Good news for Captain Marvel fans who were disappointed by DC Comics rescheduling of the DC Direct Shazam! Deluxe Action Figure Set (featuring figures of Captain Marvel, and Billy Batson with a revolving display base with sound effects) to November 1st. While the rescheduled date was accurate as late as an update from the publisher sent out last week, DC Comics which reiterated the November 1st shipping date.However, in a surprising turn of events the set will actually be in stores this coming Wednesday, September 27th. Rumors started swirling last week about the new release date, prior to DC Comics update which seemed to contradict the rumors. However, the rumors still persisted, so RTM checked in with Diamond Comics Distributors and have confirmed that the set will, indeed, by in stores this week. [Posted 9/25/2000]
