Toy Wishes Magazine Announces Ultimate Toy Awards Winners
Families Nationwide Have Cast their Votes and Selected their Favorite Toys of 2007
NEW YORK -- Dec. 4, 2007 -- Toy Wishes Magazine, The Ultimate Guide to Family Entertainment, is proud to announce the winners of the 2007 Ultimate Toy Awards, a program that invited the public to honor their favorite toy and children's entertainment products of 2007. Winners were selected in 21 categories and include Hannah Montana Singing Doll, Smart Cycle, Transformers Ultimate Bumblebee, and Guitar Hero III.
The Ultimate Toy Awards category nominees were all featured All Stars in the Holiday 2007 issue of Toy Wishes. The All Stars are selected by the Toy Wishes editorial board as the brightest, most innovative toys in over twenty different categories. The highly anticipated Hot Dozen list is chosen from these All Stars.
"We're really excited about the Ultimate Toy Awards winners. Chosen by the American public as their favorite products of 2007, this list represents some of the hottest items at retail right now," said Jim Silver, editor in chief of Toy Wishes. "These are the toys that consumers are clamoring for this holiday season."
"We always say, 'the hot toy is only hot if it's hot for your child'," said Chris Byrne, independent toy analyst and contributing editor to Toy Wishes. "While there is a lot of expertise and experience in our team, it's important for toy buyers to hear the voices of their peers as they make their choices. The Ultimate Toy Awards gives the people who are 'in the toy trenches' an opportunity for their voices to be heard and to participate in this process so everyone can play... and win."
