Wild Republic Signs Cool Pact with National Geographic for Arctic Tale

Wild Republic today announced a global agreement with National Geographic as an exclusive toy product partner for items based on the movie "Arctic Tale," in current release from National Geographic Films and Paramount Classics and its forth-coming DVD on December 4th.

Twinsburg, OH -- December 2, 2007 -- Wild Republic today announced a global agreement with National Geographic as an exclusive toy product partner for items based on the movie "Arctic Tale," in current release from National Geographic Films and Paramount Classics and its forth-coming DVD on December 4th.

Kim Hammeren, Director of Marketing and Special Projects at Wild Republic, said, "We are thrilled to be working with National Geographic. It is absolutely a perfect alignment for Wild Republic as our company strives for exemplary, exacting nature themed product that offers educational value and curiosity for children to learn about the world around them."

The main products from Wild Republic for "Arctic Tale" are plush versions of the co-stars of the movie, Seela the walrus, and Nanu, the polar bear. Along with its very specific detail to wildlife species, Wild Republic matches the "Artic Tale" film with baby and adult walrus and polar bear, just as the movie tracks the journey from birth to adulthood of the animals in the film.

In addition to the plush items, which went on sale in August for the nationwide theatrical release of "Arctic Tale," Wild Republic will introduce playsets, puzzles, collectible figurines, and additional plush variations, when the "Arctic Tale" DVD is released in early December.

The new "Arctic Tale" toy products join other successful products series from Wild Republic, which include the famous hanging plush monkeys, Steve Irwin Adventure Series, MagnaMorphs, Cuddlekins, Blanket Pillow Buddies, Audubon Birds, Paws & Claws, Vibes, Know & Grow development toys, Garden Accents, adventure box sets, wooden puzzles, wind-ups, wall walkers, and puppets, among other items.
