Darn it, I pre-ordered Castle Greyskull
I just couldn't help myself. I'm not a MOTUC completist by any means, but I've gotten all of the core characters, and this thing just seems like it's going to be an amazing backdrop/playset for them.
What really pushed me over the edge was remembering the chance I took on the Wind Raider. That turned out to be an incredible update to that toy, with tons of complex and really well-done paint apps. I'm hoping they pull off the same thing with the castle interior.
Anyone else make the leap?
U know, theres no doubt in my mind that it's a bad buy, it's going to be a great addition to out collections, but the price is out there, I'm guilty of pre ording myself.....but I really think we're being taken to the cleaner on this one.... 250 is a lot of cash, it better be worth it, if not il be done with matty forever !!!$ I mean it !
I like playsets for use as displays, but I'm not dedicated enough to MOTU.
In fact, my fav figures are King Grayskull and Spectre. *ducks for cover*
Now if they made Skeletor's hideout, I'd be all over that...
I think they've actually said if Grayskull does well enough, then they will do a Snake Mountain, which I think they said would be based on the Filmation design.
