The forum rules/guidelines are essentially the same as on the old format Buzz: try to have fun and don't be a jerk. These are fairly standard rules for forums across the entire internet, so if you don't like them, you are welcome to find someplace else to post.
If you are 13 or under, you are welcome to read the forum, but please do not register or post. It is not that we don't like kids, it's just the law. Please don't be upset.
Stick to the topic of toy collecting when in the main forum. Off-topic posts can be made in (or moved into) the fancy new "off topic" forum.
This is a forum for discussion only. Absolutely no buying, selling, trading, or commercial advertising of any kind is permitted. Use the classified ads section if you are a person, or contact Rob about advertising if you are a business.
Please refrain from using profanity or personal attacks. It's fine to disagree. It's not fine to insult.
Do not using asterisks or other characters to get around the language filter. Going out of your way to use a bad word is childish.
DO NOT TYPE ANGRY. Would you say that to them in person? I didn't think so. Take a deep breath, count to ten, go eat a cookie.
This is a monitored forum. You are not necessarily anonymous. Forgery or other shenanigans will not be tolerated.
If you have a post that is deleted and you want to know why, contact Rob or Bobbi to find out. Any public posts inquiring or arguing about it will be deleted.
Please do not complain about other web sites/forums/moderators here. If you have a problem with them, take it to them. Likewise, complaining about RTM on another site isn't going to endear you to us back here, either.
Do not post links to sexually explicit content. This includes sites that have "regular" content but "porn" advertising.
Do not post about politics or religion. We appreciate how difficult this is in an election year, but these posts will be deleted.
Do not post links to other sites where you are just linking to another site, especially when you are redirecting to your site that sells ads. Example: if you want to show someone a page on the Sideshow Collectibles web site, just link right to Sideshow's site, instead of directing them through your own site.
Do not post links to other sites through an affiliate program using your membership. This especially applies to any affiliate program that we participate in. This forum does not exist to channel traffic and affiliate fees to your account, it exists to channel it to OUR account. Well, and for many, many other reasons, but I think you get the picture. Do it and it will be deleted. Argue about it and you will be banned. I don't come to your house and take money out of your wallet, do I?
Do not use animations for your avatars or sig files. I understand that it is very exciting to finally even HAVE avatars or sig files on this site, but the animated ones are annoying and you are the only one who likes them.
Spoilers... Please mark a spoiler as a spoiler! To use the spoiler thing, you need to use the
and
tags.
