The Newgroups - A Great Place To Start
Usenet newsgroups are some of the greatest on-line sources for toy-related news and sales. A word of caution though: It's best to know a little bit about the groups before you just jump right in. Read the groups a while before posting. You'll be glad you did.
Also, take the time to read the FAQs or "Frequently Asked Questions" for any group you are interested in. These documents can save you time and embarrassment. Well worth the time to read.
If you aren't familiar with how to use newsgroups, please contact your Internet Service Provider for technical assistance. We'd love to be able to help everyone get on these groups, but unfortunately, everyone's setup is a little different and it is simply easier if you ask your own tech support how to make Usenet newsgroups work for you.

- Rec.Arts.Sf.Starwars.Collecting.Vintage - The spot for chatting about the original release of Star Wars items. If it was made before 1990, this is the place!
- Rec.Arts.Sf.Starwars.Collecting.Customizing - Want to learn more about customizing your own Star Wars action figures, props, and other toys? Here's the newsgroup for you!
- Rec.Arts.Sf.Starwars.Collecting.Misc - This group replaces the old general group. So if your post doesn't seem to fit in either of the two categories above, this is the place it should go. Mainly, that means that this is the place for all the new Star Wars item discussion and sales. If it was made after 1990, then this is where it goes and nowhere else!
