The Walking Dead Minimates Are Alive and Kicking!

August 2012 - For those of you eagerly anticipating the release of the first series of Walking Dead Minimates, Diamond Select Toys has a treat for you. It's photos of Series 1 -- both the specialty store/comic shop wave and the Toys "R" Us assortment -- in action! DST took some early samples of the toys out into the real world to show fans what the final product will look like, and the outlook is delightfully grim! Look for Series 1 to arrive in September, with Dale and the rare Winter Coat Dale variant figure exclusively at comic shops and specialty stores, and Glenn and Shane exclusively at Toys "R" Us! August 12, 2012 - Toys'R'Us has a coupon you can print and use in-store, good for $5 off any purchase amount. The usual mountain of exclusions apply - no baby formula, gift cards, and so on.

The coupon is good from August 12 to the 16th, so hopefully your local store has something in stock. If nothing else, maybe grab a small item for the holiday toy drives that are coming soon.

Six New DC Comics Super Heroes Figures to Hit the Server August 23

Hilllside, N.J. & Cary, N.C. – August 7, 2012 - Developers of HeroClix Online today announced the latest collection of DC Comics characters set to hit the server on August 23. Developed under license with Warner Bros. Consumer Products and in partnership with DC Entertainment, the Justice League Fast Forces figures will add six prominent DC Comics characters with all new powers to the online game. As with previously released sets, the new figures can be obtained both in game and via codes in physical Justice League products.

The new Fast Forces includes six popular DC Comics Super Heroes - Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash and Cyborg.

Providing players with more than one way to collect, free codes for the virtual Fast Forces can be found in physical Justice League Fast Forces and redeemed in game, beginning August 23.

The new Super Hero figures can be used alongside all other DC Comics figures, in DC Comics tournaments and maps.
