October 2004 - DC COMICS STAFF AND FREELANCERS HEAD WEST FOR WIZARD WORLD TEXAS
On November 5, members of the DC Comics staff and freelance community will head west for Wizard World Texas.
With Jim Lee (SUPERMAN, THE INTIMATES) at Wizard World Texas as Guest of Honor, DC freelancers scheduled to be at the convention include: - Giuseppe Camuncoli (THE INTIMATES)

DC editorial staffers at the convention include VP - Executive Editor, DCU Dan DiDio, and Editor Stephen Wacker, along with WildStorm's VP - General Manager Hank Kanalz and Editor Alex Sinclair. DC's Direct Sales department will be represented at the show by VP - Sales & Marketing Bob Wayne, Director - Sales & Marketing Communications Patricia Jeres, Manager - Events & Retailer Services Fletcher Chu-Fong, Representative - Direct Sales Michael Freeman, and Representative - Marketing Publications Dan DiGiacomo.

Also scheduled to appear are superstar artist Jim Lee and the upcoming LEGION OF SUPER-HEROES team of writer Mark Waid and artist Barry Kitson.

FREE VARIANT EDITION OF WILDSTORM'S THE INTIMATES #1 DEBUTS AT WIZARD WORLD TEXAS
Visitors to next week's Wizard World Texas convention can get a free variant edition of one of the fall's most anticipated debuts: THE INTIMATES #1. This variant edition will feature the cover art seen on the promotional poster for the series.
A limited quantity of this edition will be given out by the Wizard World Texas staff to advance-ticket holders. DC also will give out a limited quantity of this edition at DC's panel "The Intimates: Getting to Know Them," on Saturday, November 6 at 3:30pm, and at the DC booth to fans getting signatures from THE INTIMATES creative team of Jim Lee, Joe Casey, Giuseppe Camuncoli and Rian Hughes.
DC plans to give out a limited quantity of the variant edition of THE INTIMATES #1 at a retailer event in 2005.
