Toy Biz Returns To The Classics With X-Men
|
FOX Kids Network began re-running the old X-Men animated series during the summer hoping to catch some of the momentum generated by the hit movie and it's paid off with blockbuster ratings for the network. Toy Biz will be supporting the resurrected series with a line of action figures called X-Men Classics. All the figures in this line are reissues or repaints of previously released toys, although some will be available single carded for the first time. The first assortment, scheduled for a late 2000/early 2001 release, consists of Cyclops, Wolverine, Magneto, Gambit, Rogue and Apocalypse. This line is a great opportunity for old fans who may have missed these figures the first time around, or new fans brought in by the movie and animated series. As previously reported, Toy Biz will also be releasing an all-new series of 6" X-Men figures in support of the new animated series, X-Men: Evolution, debuting in November on Kids WB.
