MONTREAL/NEW YORK, Feb. 10, 2013 - MEGA Brands launches its brand-new Mega Bloks Hot Wheels™ collection today at the 2013 American International Toy Fair. Toy insiders will get a full preview of the highly-anticipated construction line hitting stores this summer.
Following their successful launch of the Mega Bloks Barbie line in Holiday 2012, MEGA Brands and Mattel continue to expand the construction category with a full range of building sets based on the iconic and best-selling Hot Wheels® brand. Mega Bloks Hot Wheels brings together the speed, action and performance of this world famous boys brand with easy building fun, cool action features and the world's first collectible Hot Wheels micro-action-figures.

The Mega Bloks Hot Wheels collection allows boys and collectors to build and customize awesome vehicles such as the ripcord-powered Build and Race assortment, the motorized 3-in-1 Super Blitzen Monster Truck with custom parts for three vehicle transformations, or the Urban Agent Escape Rig with missile launchers and vehicle stunt ramp. Every set, including the Hot Wheels Test Facility™ playset, includes exclusive Team Hot Wheels™ collectible micro-action-figures.
Unveiling its biggest ever product launch at this year's Toy Fair, MEGA Brands (booth # 751) will also showcase its 2013 additions to the Mega Bloks Barbie range with all-new themes and features such as lights and sounds, tons of accessories, and more Barbie™ Friends including Ken™! Toy Fair attendees will be treated to a preview of all the new sets for Fall '13 including the Mega Bloks Barbie™ Glam Scooter, Dolphin Adventure, Glam Salon, Horse Stable and Super Star Stage, which features fun songs and a light-up stage that responds to the beat of the music.
The Mega Bloks Thomas & Friends® preschool construction line is also expanded and refreshed for the 2013 Fall and Holiday seasons with more buildable sets and new sturdy PVC-free bags for easy clean-up and practical storage. In Fall 2013, little engineers can build out all of the action on the tracks inspired by the upcoming direct-to-DVD movie, King of the Railway with the "Thomas Visits the Castle" set. .
