However, it did seem as though Toy Biz was listening to fan support in remaking the Magneto figure. The sculpting and accessories continued to improve. By this time, the first line of figure looked primitive by comparison. A new tradition appeared in this line as well: The Exclusive Variation. This line contained the first KayBee Toys exclusive figure and set a trend for future assortments as other stores such as Toys R Us followed suit. Although the previous series did contain a figure with a variation (i.e., Forge) this assortment demonstrated the interest of retailers to ride the coat tails of this line's popularity.
