You won't believe where a homemade time machine can take you!

Los Angeles, CA -- August 14, 2013 -- Currently in post production, The Time Machinists is a new feature length documentary film about the Back To The Future movies, the DeLorean Time Machine and the super fans that love them all. It includes rare footage, interviews and artwork from original BTTF filmmakers like producer/writer Bob Gale and is narrated by Lee Majors from The Six Million Dollar Man.

The preview teaser and Indiegogo Crowd Funding Campaign for this film can be viewed at: http://igg.me/p/333186/x/2365774.

This campaign to raise finishing funds for the film will end in one week, on August 21st, 2013. There is still time to become a part of this exciting project!

In 2009, Director Sam Macaroni was dismayed to find a weather-beaten DeLorean Time Machine rotting on the Universal Studios' back lot. After a discussion with producer Chapin Wilson, the two agreed it was a sad fate for one of the most iconic cars in film history. Soon after, production began on The Time Machinists.

Shot over a four year span by an award-winning team, The Time Machinists has been made with the cooperation of many of the original BTTF filmmakers including: Bob Gale (BTTF Writer/Producer/Co-Creator), Kevin Pike (BTTF Special Effects Supervisor), Christopher Lloyd (Doc Brown), Michael Scheffe (DeLorean Time Machine Build Manager, BTTF Concept Artist, and designer of KITT, the talking car from Knight Rider), Andrew Probert (BTTF Concept Artist and designer of the original Starship Enterprise) and many others.

Filming locations include the back lot and the storage catacombs of Universal Studios, the sound stages of Warner Brothers Studios, the wilds of Oklahoma, the garages of Texas, and even inside the original Batmobile. The filmmakers have even found a fan who has built a car that actually runs on beer and hamburgers! All of this is directly related to how Back To The Future got made, and how its place in the space-time continuum has changed the lives of millions of fans worldwide.
