January 7, 2018 - So far this winter, we have been fortunate that the weather has been mild. Even so, the boy has been unmotivated to leave the house and get any fast food. It is better nutritionally, but the collector in me is still antsy.
Let's see what's out there in restaurants this month! (More after the jump)
A quick check of the web sites for the more popular fast food restaurants reveals the following:
- McDonald's has a joint promotion of Yo-Kai Watch and Shopkins: Happy Places as the goodies in their Happy Meals. The next promotion shown is American Greetings card kits.
- Sonic shows Dinotrux: Supercharged toys in their Wacky Pack meals.
- Burger King's kids meal web site features Sherlock Gnomes toys. There are six different toys.
- The Chick-fil-A site shows five different Surprise It Forward books as the goodies in their Kid's Meals.
- The Carl's Jr. and Hardee's both have The Emoji Movie toys and activities. Starting March 7th, the promotion changes to WWE.
- Subway Kids Meals have Coco backpack clips.
No changes from last time at these restaurants:
- The Captain D's web site does not show any toys in their kids meals at the moment.
- The Wendy's site has changed in the past few months and doesn't show the toy/activity at the moment.
- Arby's still doesn't show their toy promos on their site, but those sliders are pretty good.
- Taco Bell has phased out Kids Meals and their Kids Menu. Most of the items will still be available on their regular menu, but will no longer be marketed as for kids, so really the only difference is that the toys are gone.
