Anyone else find it ironic that 3 3/4" Ultra Poseable Spidey is lacking a waist joint?
More annoying than ironic is the fact that he doesn't come with peg holes in his feet, but he doesn't stand up for crap. Also, I can't get his legs to move at the hip, forward or sideways. I know he's got the small "rocker" ankles that a few of the newer Joe figures have which impedes their peg holes, but at least Hasbro gave us the option of trying with those, lol. My Spidey looks like a drunk, leaning against the unmasked Cap.
I didn't like Ultra Poseable Spider-Man either, but he grew on me while I posed and worked with him extensively while I was reviewing him. He only has swivels on one side of each hip ball, so you have to rotate them fully in order to maximize his flexibility.
I can actually get him standing in some crazy one-legged poses now, thanks to the ankle rockers which are by far my favorite joint. If you're not used to them, spend some time posing Spidey and getting the hang of the ankle rockers, and I'm confident you're going to love them too. The real problem with this figure is unfortunately the lack of swivel waist and the fact that there's only one swivel build into each hip ball.
I want to like this figure, as I like the new movie version of Spidey.
How is the quality of the toy itself? Does it feel like a bubble gum price?

That really, really sucks about the legs only having a one-way ball joint, considering it's ON THE OTHER SIDE from where the colored lines on the uniform match up. Swing and a miss there Hasbro. You couldn't give us 2-3 more pts of articulation, since you took it out of all the other 11 repaints and repacks that you've shipped in the first two waves? Really disappointed by Hasbro this year(Joe drivers with 5 POA, nothing but EpI Vintage on the pegs, etc) and I'm generally a Hasbro apologist.
@ Brian, the plastic doesn't feel that bad to me. Pretty much on par with most MU figures.
