Superman vs. Metallo

supesmetallofront.jpg - 23109 Bytes Superman vs. Metallo

An incredibly nice set that brings us another villain and a new version of Superman...well, sort of. The Superman has the same body as the one that came with the old Superman: Man of Steel twin-pack. However, the head sculpt now reflects the shorter hair Superman. So you aren't buying the same figure twice. It's a very nice way to update the figure without going to too much expense.

The Metallo figure has a pass-through for light, so if a light source is placed behind the figure, the eyes and chest glow with Kryptonite power! See the headshot photo below for an example of what it looks like. Metallo also comes with a removable hand and hammer for you to interchange at your leisure. The claw hand operates on a spring mechanism for extra gripping power!

Metallo

John Corben was just a thief fleeing the scene when his car crashed. But when he awoke, he was Metallo! His brain had been placed into a robotic body powered by Kryptonite, making him one of Superman's deadliest foes!

Superman

Whether he's engaged in hand-to-hand combat with Metallo or taking the hand of Lois Lane in marriage, he is first and foremost the world's greatest super-hero. With a spectacular array of powers and his disposal, the Man of Steel is Earth's first line of defense against any and all threats!
