Kaneda from Akira:

Kaneda is the rebelious Motorcycle gang leader faced with stopping his friend Tetsuo and trying to save the world from certain doom.
Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo:

Ryoko is the several thousand year old Space Pirate co-star of the popular Anime series Tenchi Muyo. Ryoko's feared troughout the galaxy and known for her planetary scale destruction in the process of raiding civilizations... until she becomes stranded on earth and develops an attraction to Tenchi Masaki. One wonders if McFarlane will include Ryoko's faithful sidekick, Cabbit, a half-rabbit half-cat that turns into a meow-ing spaceship. Tenchi Muyo will be airing this spring during Toonami on Cartoon Network.
Tetsuo from Akira:

Tetsuo is the former Bike Gang member deemed useless before, but now given ultimate psychic power wants to prove himself to the world. The Akira figures are sure to please many rabid Otaku's and Anime newbies alike.

Also included in the line is Humanoid Typhoon: Vash the Stampede, a man rumored to have wiped out an entire city, wherever he goes destruction is sure to follow... right? Unfortunately Vash doesn't seem to fit that bill very well and doesn't even use his gun, the goofball from Trigun is an interesting choice by McFarlane, because it's not very well known in the states yet. Here's to hoping Vash comes with a box of donuts as an accessory, the donuts the insurance ladies always try to bribe him with.
