This is the second McFarlane figure to bear the likeness of Johnny Depp this year. The first was Depp's Ichabod Crane from the Sleepy Hollow series. Edward Scissorhands, from the story of a young man, who was created by an inventor who died before he could give the poor creature a pair of human hands, is soon to be an action figure in the gruesome Movie Maniacs 3 series. His pasty complexion and those nasty nicks he's given himself with his razor-sharp fingers are sculpted with unflinching detail. His neo-gothic black leather outfit ripples with buckles and metal studs.
A tiny oversight in a teleportation experiment causes Seth Brundle to transmogrify, gradually, into something more like an insect than a human. A housefly got into the pod and teleported with him, combining the two into a mutating entity lovingly referred to as "Brundlefly". The Fly action figure comes complete with a custom drool base.
18 inch Michael Myers
Halloween is the original horror, and after the second series of Movie Maniacs figures made fear fun again, McFarlane Toys brings you this enormous 18 inch monstrosity! The escaped mental patient from 'Halloween', Michael Myers has come back to his hometown to finish what he started several years back, to kill.
Ash
Sam Raimi's classic Evil Dead trilogy delivered the evil goods. Finally, Bruce Campbell's Ash will be immortalized in plastic. Ash will be packaged with a mini-evil Ash from the film, a shotgun, chainsaw, gauntlet glove and the Book of the Dead.
Snake Plisskin
This Snake figure is based on his look in Escape for L.A., the 1996 sequel to the 1981 Escape from New York. Snake is packaged with his eye patch, holster, two handguns, a shotgun and a removable long overcoat.
John Carpenter's The Thing
As the monster in the movie had no real form of it's own, and took on many looks througout the picture, McFarlane Toys has opted to create 2 figures from different segments of the movie. The first Thing figure is the Blair monster, the huge main creature shown at the end of the film, while the second is the Norris monster that bursts from a dead character's chest and is then burned to a crisp. This figure will be packaged with the multi-legged, disembodied head creature from the film.
