The Bat-Man Masterpiece Edition Swings Your Way

 The Batman Masterpiece Edition: The Caped Crusader's Golden Age book and figure set is headed your way this August courtesy of Les Daniels, Chip Kidd and Chronicle Books. Fans of Batman and DC Comics have been anxiously awaiting this release, not only for the revised edition of the must-have book for Batfans Batman The Complete History, but for the 9" action figure of The Bat-man, representing the Dark Knight's original 1939 apprearance.The Bat-man figure, which was produced in conjunction with Hasbro (and is styled similarly to Hasbro's other 9" DC figures). The figure comes with a poseable cape, allowing for very dramatic posing as seen in the picture below. The final figure will not come with a bat-rope as shown below, but there is a loop in the utility belt for you to add one. Chronicle Books is hard at work on a Wonder Woman: The Complete History hardcover, that will also be followed up with a Masterpiece Edition. The Wonder Woman Masterpiece Edition will come with a Wonder Woman doll, in the same format, portraying the Amazing Amazon in her Golden Age incarnation. You've got plenty of time to save up for this one, as it's a good year and a half away at this point.
