![army of darkness](http://www.toymania.com/news/images/1204_dfaod1.jpg) lithographDecember 16, 2004, Runnemede, NJ - Following the incredible first two issues of writer James Kuhoric and artist Nick Bradshaw's Army of Darkness: Shop 'Til You Drop (Dead) series, Dynamite Entertainment unveiled plans for the third issue of that series, as well as other AOD goodies for the fans, all scheduled for shipping in February, 2005!
Artist Sanford Greene is lending a helping hand, and will be stepping into Nick Bradshaw's shoes for the third issue of the series, allowing for Bradshaw to start and finish Army of Darkness: Shop 'Til You Drop (Dead) #4 and returning the series to a regular and monthly schedule. Greene, an accomplished artist in his own right, has done a variety of work in the industry, and retains the artistic style that has made AOD a world-wide hit! (And as an fyi, this gives Sanford a chance to warm up for the big Army of Darkness Cross-over that he will be working on! More info on that in the weeks to come!)

In the third issue of Shop 'Til You Drop (Dead) Ash finds himself transported to an apocalyptic future where mindless zombies surround Deca City One. The only way to return Ash to the past is to find a long outlawed computer program called the Necronomicon long ago lost in Under City. Re-equipped with a future hand that sports various weapon fingers (flame thrower, explosive shell launcher, high powered laser, force projector, and nuclear powered nose hair clipper), Ash must find the underground bunker and enter the Necronomicon password, to access its secrets.

A retailer incentive for this issue is available - featuring a Nick Bradshaw "sketch" Cover - and retailers should consult with the distributors reps for more information.
