DC Direct Heroes and Foes line or DC Universe online figures? Anyone know what happened with these?

There were two lines coming out per DC Direct some months back, a Heroes and Foes line, and a DC Universe Online figure set - anyone know anything about these?

They were both cancelled in favor of the DCnU series of figures. Why DC Direct didn't think they could release both, especially since these would come months before the DCnU (only 1 or 2 per month) was never explained.

I really wanted that DC Universe Online Cyborg, but I guess I'll have to wait for the DCnU which I like less.
