Marvel Legends Preview Night
Interesting chunk of figures and a surprising amount I'm interested in. Happy to see Moonstar will indeed come with a lot of weapons. Then we've got Protector (weird choice but I'm down), classic Archangel, Neo Classic Iron Man, and modern Iron Fist. All very cool.
Still between these and the MU shown (some slick stuff there, too, of course) the thing that still trips me out is that we still haven't gotten a classic Quasar in ML, MU, or even MiniMates scale.
It's like being stabbed in the heart seeing all those MLs that I don't have an iota of interest in but seeing all the MUs I'd want (Masters of Evil, Karnak, Blastaar, an updated Mandarin, AIM soldier, Thanos, Puck) is killing me. Why is the ML line an all modern line now? Isn't that the line with a larger older collector appeal? I thought the idea was that mothers wouldn't buy $18 toys for their kids so the smaller line would be kid oriented and the bigger line collector. Seems the exact reverse.

Speaking as one of the fans to which you referred, I'm definitely in for U.S. Agent, Punisher, Blade, and possibly Neo-Classic Iron Man from what's been shown, so far. I'd want Dr. Doom, too, if I didn't already have him.
We better get the rest of The Wrecking Crew sooner rather than later, though...
Doesn't matter to me who they release for MU. I refused to make the scale change and have never bought single figure from any of the 3 3/4" Marvel lines.

The modern push on Marvel Legends is disappointing, so many Classic charactors let out there...what is a Protector?
How about Odin, Firelord, Wrecker, Gladiator...would love a green flight suit Red Skull...
According to Julius, BAFs may return next year. One was left out of Wave 3 because of design times...or something.
Supposedly there's some new aspect coming to ML next year, too. Hasbro will announce it at their panel.

Not having a go or anything. Sure lots of older fans like modern stuff too, but the lack of Silver/Bronze age designs and characters must in general (if not in specific) leave a big chunk of that audience underwhelmed with what they showed. I'm glad everyone likes what they like and are happy you are getting some characters you want. Just wishing those smaller sculpts could be upsized for us at 6" too. Karnak! Blastaar! Nighthawk! .... sniff .... sniff ...
I'm happy with Mystique, Moonstar, X-Force Deadpool, Blade and Punisher, I just wish the MU size Jim Lee Rogue was in ML size. The original really needs an upgrade. Could care less about Red She Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Iron Fist, and Dr. Doom. Where the heck is Jean Grey and Polaris? How does Red She Hulk get made before Polaris?
I can't believe they reused Madam Hydra's ugly face for Mystique. Also, the amount of redos is stifling, especially for characters we've gotten way to many versions of (Punisher and Iron Man especially.)
Saying that, that's probably my favorite Punisher headsculpt ever.

Am I the only one with ZERO interest in getting white Dr. Doom in both Marvel Legends AND Marvel Universe? I think I would have rather they just kept re-decoing the Marvel Legends Spider-Man mold into more costumes than that...
HOLY SWEET CAKES!!!! We're finally getting an ML Lee era Jean Grey!!!! And she looks amazing!
So now that she's finally taken care of, who is the #1 fan want? Because I don't think there's anyone who even comes close to the demand she put forth.
Wrecker's finally coming. I'm happy about that.

Jim Lee Jean Grey does look amazing. Looks great on that body. Too bad for me that I vastly prefer her green Phoenix costume.
I suspect the #1 want now is Polaris, although not my #1.
Me? I'm all about new sculpts , and I'm seeing four of them : She Hulk, Sentry/Hyperion, Archangel, and Neo-classic Iron Man. That's not bad for these newer waves.
Pretty happy with everything. Excited to add a couple of these.
Ah, there's another new sculpt for Moonstone. And it looks fantastic so far. Geez, I want all kinds of characters on that new female body at some point. Warbird Ms Marvel, Jim Lee Rogue, classic Mystque. . .
It is sad the modern Mystique didn't even get a unique headsculpt. Hasbro said they just wanted to test the waters w 2 ML waves, but they were released almost simultaneously, and sold way better than anyone was expecting. That's why they rushed out wave 3 with all the body reuse and poor Mystique didn't even get her own head. That's why there's no BAF too. No time.
Think Hasbro will ever release those old prototypes they showed years ago...Havok, Madrox, Echo, White Phoenix, Terror, Inc., etc.?
There was a new Havok proto type? I'm also not sure I remember Echo or Phoenix. I definately remember Maddrox and Terror.
Wow... how in the heck do I not remember that one? Given my love for Havok it's just weird for me.

One can hope someday they'll all get out, although I heard that the F A Storm prob won't get made, which has always been my most wanted of unproduced prototypes

Yeah we won't get that Storm because they did a great job on it and we actually want it.
