Hey kids,
After a week or so of waiting for the FDA to decide my toys weren't part of some commie plot, I finally got these two and did a quick review this morning:

Happy viewing!
So on top of the problems with the Armored Batman, my original Play Arts Batman's right arm just broke off at the same lateral joint that's stuck on the armored one. Maybe it's best it doesn't move. What a pain! Now I have to track down another AA Bats on ebay.
Great.
Swift's last blog cost me $120 LOL...
GREAT pics Swift..as usual. I'm glad you finally got them and like them. While I'm not much of a Harley fan, I just bit the bullet on the DC 52 Batman at BBTS and this armored version has my wheels turning.
Thanks for the review, fantastic as always!
Thanks, Brian! I always get self-conscious about my pics (blurry? Too much flash?), but I try to put them in inventive enough poses to let the figures sell themselves...
I looked through 18 PA Harleys from 3 different comic shops, before I found one with decent enough paint apps to purchase. The quality control seems to be getting worse the more Play Arts expands their business. The Armored Bats was just too simular to the 1st PA Batman so that was an easy pass for.
But while the Batman stuff is cool, I am really looking forward to the Dead Space Isaac Clarke, crossing my figures that the quality is good..
Yeah, the quality control needs to be ramped up quite a bit if they're going to keep me coming back. While it's nice to have forward movement on the shoulders, I'd gladly sacrifice that POA in order to prevent breakage. Nero and Dante from DMC4 aren't going to have that problem, but after my original Bats breaking now, I worry for future releases.
I liked your review as well. I was really on the fence about picking up Armored Batman, but after looking @ different reviews, I've decided I don't really need him. I'm still going to buy that Catwoman though.
Thanks! I'm definitely looking forward to Catwoman after seeing Harley's execution. I didn't think I would like Harley anywhere near as much as I do.
