Must I get the "Bubble Power" She-Ra for her to ride Swift Wind?

Hey all,

Been thinking about picking up Swift Wind, but I already have She-Ra. Is there a way to futz the "V. 1" figure onto the horse? I'd even consider cutting her skirt to accomodate; I'm just wondering if anyone knows how feasible it would be. Thanks in advance!

I honestly haven't tried to put the original She-Ra on Swifty, but I doubt she'd fit well with the stiff skirt; her legs do need some room to settle into the saddle. Cutting the skirt might work, but I can see the cut eventually splitting up the side more than you intended.

It is a pretty lousy thing that you need to buy a new She-Ra just to fit on Swifty, but I think it's worth it. A simple boil and pop at the top of the thighs and the top of the upper arms to switch the new arms and legs for the old actually gives you an almost perfect Filmation She-Ra with the original head in place. THe only problem is the neck joint has her staring down all the time...

She-Ra v1. will sit on Swiftwind, but she sits really high in the saddle so it looks awkward & unnatural. She-Ra v2. is really worth the upgrade.

You can remove the Bubble Power accouterments and swap out the head and you'll have a She-Ra figure that's much nicer than the original. Her boots, belt, and gauntlets all have more detail and her dress is actually white, unlike the off-white of the original.
