Jon, totally not ragging on you for posting this, just saying general: I soooooooo don't care. Amazing Spider-Man was so awful.
This sums up most of my feelings about it:
Of note: I saw this with my 10 year old brother and he was vocally confused why Peter Parker was picked on. And by that I mean he was very explicit that he didn't seem to be the nerd that Peter Parker is supposed to be.
I am done with this franchise for as long as Sony has it.
...To be honest, even though I'm a huge Marvel comics fan, I've never seen The Amazing Spider-Man, and really have absolutely no desire to. I enjoy seeing how superhero films develop - mainly via their character choices and casting - much , much more than actually watching the finished products (with a few exceptions, like The Avengers, Dredd, etc. - and I rarely ever watch those more than a few times). :b
