Wow, so not only did their rep lie about not having it on the site again, they jack the price up $20. Well, I'm glad I found mine when I did, and glad he's available for those willing to pay the markup and save themselves the hassle. It really is a great figure, and still a deal compared to the import version, but I can't help but feel like TRU said, "wow! the demand is higher than expected! Let's see if we can jack up the price and still sell through our stock!"

By better price do you mean the original $99 price? I think the writing's on the wall with this one, and I'd be surprised if it's not jacked up to 129.99 (or even 149.99 as reported in some areas) in all TRUs by now, especially pre-Xmas. If you mean you hope they'll be overstocked and clearanced after Xmas, then I hope you're right, because I'd buy another one... 
Toys R Us seems to be increasing the price on a lot of the high profile items before Christmas just so that they can offer them at a "sale" price after Thanksgiving.
I have missed it twice now...hopefully the email alert works this time around.

They told people in stores that complained about the price that the $99.99 price was an "introductory" price. Like TRU ever does those.

Looks like these are showing up in more stores too. I saw a large stack of them at the Madison, WI store this weekend.
Yeah, it figures that the day after I get mine in the mail I see two sitting there in the wild at a SoCal TRU. Still, it's dangerously close to Black Friday and the post BF period where I'm loathe to step into any toy store, so I'm glad I got one.
