anyone seeing the new gi joe wave?
i don't know what the wave is referenced as(gi joe retaliation wave...?), but it has a new storm shadow, cobra commander and data viper.
You probably mean the 3.5 wave. It also has the ultimate Duke, Flint, Roadblock, Kwinn, etc. I haven't seen that wave anywhere, so I went ahead and ordered online for the ones I wanted. So many retailers seem to have dropped or cut back on anything for the collectors MU, ML, GI Joe. Where I live, my Wal Marts and Targets just stopped carrying them and they used to carry them all.
The ultimate Storm Shadow is a pretty sweet figure. Too bad they were sold out when I ordered. Still looking for him and Duke at a decent price. Maybe they will finally show up local.
They're popping up at TRUs and Walmarts. A case hit the Niagara Falls, NY, Walmart about the middle of last week.
Haven't seen them at TRU around here but they've been widely reported.
They've started hitting Walmarts in the midwest. I've seen remnants at two different Walmarts. AT one I picked up SS, Data Viper and Firefly (none of which where in the computer). At a second one I got SE and RB, both of which were in the computer.
I saw them at my local Drug Mart here in OH but passed. They were $11.99 apiece (is that really about what they cost now?), and I really only want Blind Master, since it looks like they cheaped out on Budo. I mean, seriously? You go to all the trouble for the sculpted details on that armor and don't give us sheaths for his swords or a spear or anything?
They've hit hard at the TRUs around me in the last week.
