Two of the most popular giant monsters beating the hell out of each other for an hour and a half. You would think that would be a license to print money. Especially in Japan!

I'm sure there's been talk of it before but have no doubt it comes down to problems between the studios, all related to egoes.

But yes, it could be so awesome at least one person would die of an aneurism if it was ever officially announced.
