The Fantastic Four are the Foundation of Marvel Minimates Series 48!

August 2012 - With fallen Fantastic Four member the Human Torch recently discovered alive and relatively well in the Negative Zone, Diamond Select Toys has decided to celebrate by making Marvel Minimates Series 48 their most fantastic assortment yet! Available only at comic shops and specialty stores, this series will feature three two-packs, plus one rare variant two-pack that will only be available one per case. With core FF members, old villains and a key supporting character, this will be one series of Minimates no FF fan should miss!

Mr. Fantastic and the Puppet Master
Team leader Reed Richards comes with an classic FF foe, the conveniently named Phillip Masters. Wearing his John Byrne-designed uniform, Mr. Fantastic will sport a new stretching fist and a grabbing arm. Meanwhile, Masters will come with his distinctive apron... as well as miniscule Minimate puppets that he can manipulate, to control the actions of his foes!

Halloween ComicFest to Get Exclusive Walking Dead Minimates Two-Pack!

August 2012 - This year, comic shops across the country will participate in Halloween ComicFest, with special giveaways and limited-edition comics, as well as some cool Halloween-themed merchandise. And Diamond Select Toys is participating in the event with an exclusive 2-pack of Walking Dead Minimates! DST has taken their rare Winter Coat Dale and Female Zombie 2-pack from Series 1 and repainted it in an even rarer black-and-white color scheme, as they originally appeared in the popular black-and-white comic book by Robert Kirkman! Tell your comic shop to order a set for you, and pick it up just in time for Halloween!

Fear Itself Marvel Minimates: The Worthy

To commemorate the Earth-shattering Marvel storyline, Diamond Select Toys is releasing two box sets of Minimates! The Worthy box set includes Cul, The Serpent (the Asgardian god of fear); his herald Skadi (a.k.a Sin, the Red Skull's daughter); Mokk, Breaker of Faith (formerly the Grey Gargoyle); and Angrir, Breaker of Souls (formerly the ever-lovin' blue-eyed Thing). Each comes with a massive hammer, and the Serpent also comes with his staff.

Battle Beasts Minimates Series 1 Revealed!

August 17, 2012 - After years of planning, Diamond Select Toys has opened up pre-orders for their first series of Battle Beasts Minimates! Appearing in the September issue of Previews, the first series of specialty figures will follow the IDW Publishing comic book mini-series, with characters and color schemes that will only be found at comic shops and specialty stores.

The Walking Dead Have Come Back... for a Second Series of Minimates!

August 2012 - This September, the world of Minimates will be invaded by zombies! The first series of Minimates based on the Walking Dead comic book by Robert Kirkman is scheduled to hit in September, and Diamond Select Toys is already hard at work on the second series, slated for a November release. Like the first assortment, every human character will come with a zombie, and there will be a zombie two-pack to help pad out your zombie herd.

The specialty assortment for Series 2 includes:

Sailor Zombie and "Cute" Zombie
Andrea with Stabbed Zombie (specialty exclusive)

August 2012 - For those of you eagerly anticipating the release of the first series of Walking Dead Minimates, Diamond Select Toys has a treat for you. It's photos of Series 1 -- both the specialty store/comic shop wave and the Toys "R" Us assortment -- in action! DST took some early samples of the toys out into the real world to show fans what the final product will look like, and the outlook is delightfully grim! Look for Series 1 to arrive in September, with Dale and the rare Winter Coat Dale variant figure exclusively at comic shops and specialty stores, and Glenn and Shane exclusively at Toys "R" Us! Have No Fear, the "Fear Itself" Marvel Minimates are Almost Here!

August 2012 - Last summer, the "Fear Itself" event rocked the Marvel Universe. Heroes and villains from across the Marvel Universe were transformed into The Worthy, hammer-wielding minions of Cul, the Norse God of Fear. In response, the All-Father Odin equipped his own team of heroes, The Mighty, with Asgardian weaponry that would end the aggression of his brother, the Serpent. Titans clashed, the world shook, and heroes fell. And then Diamond Select Toys made Minimates for it!

August 2012 - After two rounds, Diamond Select Toys has still not decided who the winner is in their Marvel vs. Capcom 3 Minimates line. Now it's time for the third and final round! Series 3 hits comic shops this week, and will be coming to Toys "R" Us shortly, and DST has put together a series of exhibition bouts to show off the new characters' moves! In a new photo shoot, DST has pitted Marvel characters against Capcom characters based on Series 3's two-pack pairings. That card includes:
