Batman has been an awesome series, but its video games were not that great, except the batman and robin video game back on old at sega mega drive 2. And now after so many years we got to see amazing and cool batman games the Arkham asylum and city. Both of them were so awesome. When i first started Arkham asylum game i knew this will turn out to be a great game and a video game series. So it is not a big surprise that Batman Arkham City Series 3 action figures are cool too. I first bought the Titan Joker from arkham asylum and then Batman and Ra's from arkham city from past generation toys and they are really awesome, cool. Perfect details, good articulation. Everything is good for me.
So what are your thought guys about the Batman Arkham City action figures? Next my eyes are on Armored Batman Batman Arkham Asylum Play Arts Kai Action Figure this is so cool, i am just saving money right now for this.
These look great, but wait till you ho.d Play Arts in hand..they are fantastic. Also, I received an email from Toywiz that they have the PlayArts version on sale for $49.99 and if you sign up for the email flter I think you will get another 5% off.
oh wow thats a good news for me. Thanx for letting me know. Ill check out toywiz. I really want that armored batman he is so darn cool.
I also picked up these new bad boys, great toys.
AND...series 4 was announced by DCC during a Q n A to be shown at NYCC next week!

Awesome figures. Wish they were a bit cheaper....

I know this thread brought up some valid discussion, but was the original post some sort of spam advertising past generation toys .com? BlackSpider/BlackSpidey (the OP) posted the exact same message with the exact same link to past generation toys here at actionfigurenews.ca:

Looking at his past threads on actionfiguresnews, this is not the first time he has mentioned past generation toys as an online retailer. Does BlackSpidey WORK for past generation toys? Is this sort of covert advertisement allowed on RTM? Could he have not just pointed us towards the general DC Collectibles website where the Arkham City figures are also featured?
Sorry if I'm making this a bigger deal than it really is, but I hate having advertisements shoved down my throat (especially because it doesn't happen often on RTM)... makes me NOT want to buy from past generation toys.
^ I thought I was the only one who thought BlackSpider's posts and "reviews" were strange. It all smacks of thinly-veiled advertising to me.
EDIT: Here was the first post I saw, a review of a TF: Prime toy. The link takes you to a site that pretty much does nothing to promote the figure, and everything it can for PastGeneration Toys. Here's the link to the thread:

Mods? Anyone?
Some of his posts are kind of spammy, but most of them seem to part of the discussion. He doesn't have an obnoxious sig file or make every post about this store or that.
For the present we are okay with his overall posts.
We have only received one abuse notice from a reader and that was this morning. I have addressed it with Black Spider and I will leave it at that.

I really want that Titan Joker to counterbalance Croc (I'm getting the DCC versions of figures Mattel isn't doing for their Arkham line), even at that price tag, but now I'm on the fence after Croc's arm just fell off. I just had him in the display and looked one day and the arms was laying by his feet. The clear plastic joint had just sheared off, apparently just from the weight of the arm itself (it was barely even posed, falling down at his side, just moved ever so slightly forward). Given Joker's even more massive arms, I'm just a little leary now.
Anyone else have this problem with either Croc or roided Joker?
Croc's arms falling off is a wide spread issue. In fact, it's so wide spread, I actually cancelled my preorder after reading review after review. I didn't want to spend $50 on a figure that was almost guaranteed to break right out of the box.
I've had Croc for months without incident. He's well worth it!
