Apparantly the restock of Wave 1 & 2 and Wave 3 are street dated for Feb 11, can anyone confrim this? I was looking for a fellow poster here on the board and a local Target told me to check back next week because the boxes are street dated and they can't sell them. So what about the figures that have been sitting on shelves for the past 7 months? Just plain stupid. I can understand street dating Iron Man 3 stuff, though after seeing the pics, I would rush those dut binnies to pegs asap, but the Joe Figuers have no surprises left to them.
Maybe Feb 11 isn't a street date but a Target reset date?
One Target I stopped at over the weekend restocked GI Joe. Other than some packs of Joe mini figures, I didn't see anything new. They also had a few Iron Man 3 items, new Spider-Man 4", SM & IM Titan heroes (12", 5 POA ). The best they had was the DC Unlimited figures. No other target in my area had this stuff.
Hasbro puts a street date on all their movie line and have for years. But some stores don't care or don't check. SOme store have them flagged in their computers, so if you try to buy them the computer won't let you (Mostly Walmart for this one). Does it really matter? It's only a couple days away and it's not like any of this stuff will really be hard to find.
Is there anything new coming, vehicles or figure-wise, that wasn't available the first time around? Who's in wave 3?
No new vehicles, but lots of new figures. I believe Colton, Firefly movie accurate Snake Eyes, Movie accurate Roadblock, and Lady Jaye among them.
The JOE boxes do not have a street date on them, but we are doing the reset Friday in preparation for the IM3 release Monday. All the new Hasbro stuff is going out that day.
