Does anybody remember this tory from the late '70s or early '80s? I'm trying to figure out who made this and what it was actually called.

The Brain is made of soft rubber and glows in the dark. You could squeeze it and pink slime would ooze out of three slits in the front.

It measures about 4 inches by 4 inches by 2.25 inches.

Unfortunately the pink slime has hardened but there are a couple of pieces of it rattling around inside.

Daverat, I can't thank you enough for posting a picture of this because I owned one. It did have emit pink slime when squeezed. The toy itself would glow-in-the-dark by being green and it was one of my favorite toys in the late 70's. It was called "The Brain" but unfortunately I've no clue as to whom manufactured it.

Maybe we can discover the manufacturer by recalling other slime toys. Do you remember the green slime in the miniature green trash cans? Or the orange slime that came with worms in the same miniature orange trash cans? They even sold slime with eyeballs for a while, too. In either case, I recall flattening the slime on concrete or on the floor and cutting-out slime "pancakes" using the trash can's lid as a "cookie cutter".

As you can see, a floodgate of memories have been unleashed.

Please get in touch if I may be of any use to you. I do enjoy nostalgia and recalling whimsical past ditties like this.

Thanks again!
Miguel.
