That probably is a good idea.

Come to think of it, a few specific stickied topics might be good, with the subject of the topic in the first post.

"Da Buzz" Where hot news can be posted.
"Sales Buzz" The suggested stickie.
"Just Spotted", where people could post area reports when they find something new.
"New Coupon Codes" Where people can post new codes they find that are worthwhile.

Since these are things we saw repeatedly posted in the old forum, this might cut down on additional posts that could be lost.

Once people sub to the topics, they will get emails when new items are posted, giving us incentive to come see what's up.

That said, when we get emails about new repies to subbed topics, can the direct link be posted before a link to the poster? The formatting of the email is a bit odd, and I'd think in order we'd want the links to:

I'll add that to the list of things to look into. It's probably an easy fix, once I remember where to fix it.

This isn't a toy sale, but VIZ Media sent this:

Barnes & Noble debuts their Manga Mondays promotion on BN.com this Monday March 19th at midnight EST, and will feature three titles from VIZ Media at 50% off cover price! This is a great way for fans to check out series they may have missed when they first debuted, and is a wonderful opportunity for readers to sample a diverse range of manga at a discount! The sale is for one day only, ending Tuesday March 20th at 2:59AM EST, and the titles include:

  • GIN TAMA Vol. 1 - a slapstick comedy imagining a version of Japan... if aliens had invaded and taken over during samurai times!
  • HONEY AND CLOVER Vol. 1 - the manga that inspired the anime and live action feature film! Navigating college is tough, but for Takemoto, things get complicated when love enters the equation in his group of friends!
  • YAKITATE!! JAPAN Vol. 1 - In this Iron Chef meets shonen action manga - Kazuma, blessed with otherworldly baking powers, is determined to create Ja-pan, the national bread of the land of the rising sun!

I nearly fell off my chair a few minutes ago when I saw this come up in the AdSense slot, but Tonner has their 13-inch Supergirl on sale for $25.

http://www.tonnerdoll.com/dc-stars-collection

Of course, I ordered her right away. Shipping (in the US) was $5.95.

This will be my first Tonner Doll, so I'm hoping they are as nice as they look!

The three Spidey Blu-Rays are on sale for $10 at Best Buy this week and each come with $10 movie cash for the new movie. The price is in the Best Buy ad so you can match at Target and Walmart. So it's a no-brainer to pick them up for as many tickets as you need assuming your ticket will cost at least $10. And it will if you see the movie in 3D and I can't imagine NOT seeing this movie in 3D since this is the FIRST superhero movie ACTUALLY shot on 3D cameras and not just converted in post, as shown here:

http://realorfake3d.com/

These new Blu-Rays of Spidey 1 and 2 have special features that were not included on any previous Spidey 1 and 2 Blu-Rays, and part 1 has some all-new features not on the DVD either. This Spidey 3 Blu-Ray, however, has LESS special features than were on the previous Spidey 3 Blu-Ray.

I got an email from the Disney Store with a free shipping code when you spend $75 or more: SHIPTODAY

Not sure of the expiration, but I wanted to posted it anyway, considering that I just posted the two new ASM Marvel Select figures they have.

The Disney Store at the King of Prussia, PA mall has 25% off of select items today only. Looked like it was probably a chainwide sale. Looked like it applied to a lot of clearance stuff including Toy Story. I don't think it applied to the newer Marvel stuff. I got the Hawaiian Toy Story 5-figure set that has the BAF of Trixie for under $20. Also, the MU X-Men boxed set was on clearance for $25 and the sale probably applied to that as well.

On the Fwoosh I recently read about MU Sentinels popping up in Tj Maxx and Marshalls stores for $30.
I found one today at Tj Maxx. According to the sightings on Fwoosh, there are two versions being shipped: a gold faceplate and a silver faceplate. Mine was gold.
