I finally did a toy review on my blog for these two awesome pieces of plastic. The language isn't that bad for a change, either (I think I only use the eff-dash-dash-dash word once), so please feel free to peruse my terrible pictures and abide my ramblings here: http://swiftonthefringe.blogspot.com/?zx=10616868a1823c6f

Damn you and your sharp things!!!

Seriously, great review of what looks to be a solid figure. I've been on the fence with this due to the cost, but he just looks so awesome.

Does the sculpt and/or paint job show rips or battle damage? I don't want to pay $60 for a battle damaged figure and this is the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger.

This figure has the detail we would like to see in a DCUC, but probably never will due to the budget limitations in the mfg process.

While I was initially on the fence about the armored look, I am warming up to it as it is more realistic. For a Giant Bat that is.

Thanks again for the review!!

Thanks for the kind words!

There's no battle damage at all in the sculpt. This is THE Batman in my collection right now, he's just that damn cool. Even putting him a vanilla pose makes it look likes he's ready to break all your other action figure's limbs. I'm on the fence about the armored version as well, but just might bite if the reviews are positive--and judging by how these two turned out, I might not be able to help myself.
