November 2013 - Thor fights elves. The Ghostbusters fight ghosts. Rick Grimes fights zombies. It's a bad week for the supernatural, as Diamond Select Toys rolls out three new products that will give any mythical creature a reason to run! With a new Walking Dead vinyl bank, a new Marvel Select figure and a new light-up Ghostbusters statue hitting comic shops and specialty stores this Wednesday, it's looking like another great New Toy Day!

Walking Dead Rick Grimes Vinyl Bust Bank

October 6, 2013 - September was a blur, but at some point, there was a trip to Walgreens and a surprise in the toy aisle! Not only did they have McFarlane's 4th series of The Walking Dead action figures (tv versions), including the exclusive Rick Grimes figure, but they also had some oddly cute DC Super Hero Dolls.

I picked up the Wonder Woman, Catwoman, and Supergirl. There is also a Batgirl, but I didn't see one at this location, so she'll wait for another day. The dolls were $4.99 each. In addition to their rooted hair, they have eyes that blink open and closed as you tilt them backwards or stand them up. (more after the jump)

September 2013 - Funko has announced larger versions of their Mystery Mini figures for The Walking Dead. Check out the new 7-inch Vinyl Figures: Prison Guard Walker, RV, Walker, and Daryl Dixon.

Expect to see these non-mystery figures in stores around October 10th.

Walking Dead Minimates Series 4 Coming to Toys "R" Us!

August 2013 - Diamond Select Toys recently unveiled the specialty assortment of Walking Dead Minimates Series 4, based on creator Robert Kirkman's long-running horror comic which inspired the TV show of the same name. Well, now they've unveiled the Toys "R" Us-exclusive assortment, which features six brand-new figures based on the artwork of series artist Charlie Adlard!

Based on the famous Prison vs. Woodbury storyline, the assortment includes new, exclusive figures of Rick Grimes, the leader of the main band of survivors, and the Governor, the sadistic ruler of Woodbury. Both depict the characters as they appear towards the end of the storyline, bearing the severe injuries inflicted upon them by the Governor and Michonne, respectively. Both figures are exclusive to Toys "R" Us, and each comes with his own exclusive walker, the Gunshot Zombie and the Biker Zombie, respectively.
